Was this a LD

Last night I asked a DC to change into someone else. Was this a low level LD?

That all depends on whether or not you ever said or thought "I am dreaming right now" during the dream. It really has nothing to do with any other events in the dream.

No, I never did acknowledge I was dreaming. but wouldn't I have to atleast be questioning my reality to ask something of a DC that in waking life wouldn't be possible?

No, not necessarily. I've had dreams where it seemed like the most normal thing in the world that I could fly -- yet I had no inkling that I was dreaming at the time.
