      Making your own dream sign?

      Is it possible to make your own dream sign? If so, can it be an object? In a movie I watched, the guy used the moon.

      it's easier to just reconize a personall dream sign by reading through your dream logs. but that doesn't mean you can't make one up.

      If you want to make a dream sign, do a reality check every waking time you see the sign, then you'll likely do a RC when you see it in your dreams and you'll LD.
      Long you live and high you fly
      And smiles you'll give and tears you'll cry
      And all you touch and all you see
      Is all your life will ever be.

      Okay, this is what I did, though it hasn't worked yet. (still just starting to build up my dream recall)

      I wrote "Blue" on the palm of my hand in RED permanant marker... so, looks like this:

      [size=18]BLUE

      Now, when I'm awake, obviously, it will SAY "blue", but it'll actually be red. Because it's "wrong" or "lying" about what it is,. whenever I see it like this I'll be a bit disatisfied, and will know I'm awake.

      But when I'm dreaming, it'll say blue, and it'll be blue as well. Since it's telling the truth about what colour it is, I'll be pleased and a bit satisfied, and so I'll know I'm in a dream.

      Also, since it's on the palm of my hand, it'll come off pretty easily, cos of all the sweat and friction from carrying stuff during the day. I've got no idea whether this will work or not, but I'm pretty sure that it will, but don't ask me why.

      If I find it works, I'll tell you, but since I'm still working on dream recall and am not (seriously) attempting to do an LD yet, that may be a while. A couple of weeks, maybe...

      I find using the wind worked very well for me. It gives me rarely good lucids, but when i had the wind in my face when i was dreaming, i really knew that i was aware

      That makes me think of the Star Trek: Voyager episode where Chakotay had a lucid dream. Didn't he use the moon as well?
