People who give up smoking using a nicotine "patch" often report that they have totally stable vivid LDs. It appears that non-smokers can get the same effect... There is a WARNING !!! on the package that the "patch" may produce vivid dreams. :D

hmmm you speak the truth?
sounds good but...cant u get addicted to the patch if your a non smoker?
Plus isnt nicotine like the strongest posien ever 2drops and your dead or sumthing, i know that the patch/ciggs only have like .00002drops lol but still not worth it to me :-O
Verily, I say unto you, amigo, many of those who apply a nicotine patch experience stable vivid lucid dreams. My son first told me about it. He was quitting smoking and told me he was having the craziest dreams night after night, where he was fully conscious just like being in the "real" world. So, amigo, I Googled: nicotine patch dreams, and found that many other people were having the same experience.
As far as the toxicity and potential addiction, the patch is completely safe and probably okay for occasional use, maybe a couple of times a week. :-P
I can attest to the fact that nicotine patches give you VERY vivid dreams.
One of the many times I tried to kick the cigarette habit I used the patch and consistently had ultra-realistic lucid dreams on several occasions. Now, I wouldn't recommend it for a non-smoker because you might get some great LDs but at the same time you will likely get a nicotine habit as well. It's just not worth it, in my opinion.
I can also confirm that you speak the truth!
I tried to quit smoking last year and was wearing quite a high dosage patch (nicorette) 24/7.
I had some of the wierdest most vivid dreams during this time but none were lucid.
I think its down to the fact that you are receiving the nicotine 24 hrs a day, where as when smoking you obviously only do it for a maximum of 18 hours a day.
They have brought out these new patches that only release the nicotine for like 16 hours or something so as not to interfere with your sleep, wheres the fun in that.
I've never actullay considered using a patch to induce an LD or a vivid dream but now I think I'll go and have a root around in the back of the medicine cabinet.
Thanks for the idea!
