[b]Easy things I did:
1) learn what the stiffs say about how tos and dos and don'ts of lucidity.
2) refer to a psychoactive site, anywhere that they post hallucination reports, compare and contrast these with what the experts say. (errowid is good)
3)Meditate! If you don't know how, go visit a couple of sangas, it is so easy -do nothing and think nothing. A clear head will give you clear dreams.
4) learn to understand that everything you ingest is a drug and that each effects you both at day and at night. Use all food and such at your own moral discretion.
5) write
6) learn to shut off your inner dialogue all the time, so that you can walk and meditate, do work and meditate. Once you start to realize it in your life, the same calm will come to your dreams and lucidity will, at this point, be inherent almost.
7) love yourself. lucid nightmares suck.
Those with many combinations of application and style seems to be effective reccomendations I've noticed in many different religions and practices to induce clairity and dreaming, but such disciplin will take years. But it is well worth the time and the effort for the peace of mind it provides. :) good luck!

[sorry, but that pic cracks me up every time]
wer..
After researching you and trying to define why lucid dreaming would be so dramatically important to you; I have come to the conclusion that you must be younger than 17 and in the heat of puberty.
Outcasted from the majority of society, and neglected a girlfriend. Why is it that your website contains such primal content? "Girls girls girls!" "Stickdeath"
It is then obvious, although.. I don't mean to harshly judge.. but this is my, what I believe to be, accurate assumption, that you wish to lucid dream for the primal instincts of violence and sex.
Perhaps the reason you cannot lucid dream is because your comprehension of this level of comprehension is lacking the discipline or maturity. Also, perhaps, I am judging unfairly. But, considering your motivations and the content in which you have typically posted about lucid dreaming, it seems so.
Is this bad? No. It means that you may simply be desiring lucidity out of the primal instincts in yourself that you cannot attain in reality.
"Do not treat fanatsies as a sedative from reality, for it is addictive."
I believe I may not have been completely clear.. but I hope to have been enlightening in any sense..

http://dreamviews.com/ <- that's a good start.
I agree a bit with O'nus, but I'll still try to help.
Number Frickin' One: Keep a dream journal, for at least until you remember two dreams a night. Your dream recall will come quicker than you think, at least it did for me (after about 5 days I went from 3-4 a week to 5 a night). Even if those dreams are not lucid, it'll make you more aware in your dreams that are lucid.
Now the next methods you can mess with until you find one you like:
1: Try reality checks. Carry a watch. There are people who say to carry a digital one, but a mechanical one works just fine for me (It's fun to spin the hands around on with your mind while you dream). While you are at school, when you want to check the clock, check your watch twice. Try to make the time change. It takes a bit of disipline, but once you start doing it it will become habit. It won't while you are awake, but in a dream it will, and you will be dreaming! I found that these dreams are not as lucid as the ones in the next method.
2: Try WILD methods. WILD stands for Wake Induced Lucid Dream (I think). My favorite (because it takes almost no work, and you are full-blown lucid from the start) is right from waking up from a dream (even if it is a false awakining) you stay completly still. Don't move a single muscle. Close your eyes then pretend you are going back into the dream, and you will. This also works well when you have just woken up from a nightmare. Another WILD technique is when you goto bed, look at the purty colors you see when you close your eyes and make things out of them. I don't have any luck with this one though, because my eyes keep getting sore :holyshit: .
BTW: My army pwns your army!!!!

Jill this guy thinks your a "dude", haha, your little scheme to fool the newbies worked
1. we didn't have the gender thing when this thread was made.
2. why the hell do you keep calling me 'Jill'?
I LOVE this :) :) :)Quote:

I've met Jill (in my dreams)
I know Jill
I consider Jill to be a friend of mine
Paperdoll it no Jill!
As for the gender thing, she is just expanding her horizons!
All kidding aside...Someone is confused here.....
so im thinking of following two "courses of action"
1. either keep on calling her Jill just to piss the shit out of her
or
2. just call her paperdoll, or the muffin queen
and if someone knows, what is her real name...she supposedly doesnt give it out...we should know
HAHAHA
