Pre-written dreams
I came up with a neat idea for inducing lucid dreams. Before you go to bed you would write down your dream in your dream journal, before it happened, and tell yourself that you were going to have this dream. If you have the said dream, it might remind you that you wrote it, which could bring on lucidity.
well thats my idea

Sounds like a good idea to me, maybe I'll try it tonight. That would be pretty sweet scripting out a dream because if it induces that dream, even unlucidly, that would be awesome, you could pick whatever you want to do in the evening, and experience it for real that night.

I've tried it a couple times without much success. That could ju st be because my dream recall is kinda crappy, so idk. It really is a good idea if you can get it to work. The great thing is, once you get into that dream, you should recognize it as the thing you wrote down so you are more likely to realize you are dreaming. What you may try to do is write it down before going to bed, then sleep for 4-5 hours, wake up and read ovre it a time or two, and then go back to sleep.

hmmm interesting. I have been having a little dry spell, due to lack of effort im guessing. Sounds like a good idea, im going to try it tonite.

I've actually noticed that, often, when I read sections of my dream journal before going to bed, I'll end up having a dream related to the dream I was reading. It's not as potent when reading something insignificant to me, but after reading a dream, good or bad, I'll end up seeing at least Something from the previous dream. I'd suppose actually taking the time to write out a possible script for a dream might actually have some good results.
Nice idea. I'll try it some time. :goodjob2:

thnx
thanx fer the responses guys. i would really like to know if it works for you, if it does let me know.
oh btw, if no-one has discovered this technique before me, then i shall call it:
PWILD (Pre Written Induced Lucid Dream)
Oh and dreamguy88, great idea about sleeping for 4-5 hours, waking up and reading the dreamscript before going to sleep again. If you wanted to become lucid, the best thing would making just one simple main event to occur. It will be easier to remember and recognize. For example you could write a dreamscript about just looking at a tree. you would memorize the tree as a sign to become lucid. :D Although you would have to make it interesting enough for your brain to think about whilst dreaming, maybe add a few strippers or dino's or whatever your interested in :P
I just love coming up with good ideas... heh.
