writing stuff down
if i write down in my dj of what i want my dream to be and read it before i go to bed, will
increase my chance of having that dream and become lucid
if so, how many times do i have to read it?
another question if i get out of bed to turn my light off, will that hurt my chances of having that dream and become lucid?

You could try a written dream incubation, or you could do it in your head through visualization. See what works best for you.
