about WILD
Hi, im a newbie here from sweden so please be patient with my spelling.
Anyway, I were trying WILD technique earlier this morning and now have som questions.
1. Everytime I were counting, 24 - im dreaming, 25 - im dreaming, suddenly it felt like i started to dream but I also stopped counting and 5 sek later i started to count and the "dream" fade away.. What whas that? there were no pics like I read about, it was more like dream. And what can I do to not stopp counting?
2. How long do YOU use to count before these "pictures" become visible? Like 5 min and 735, im dreaming? I dont think I try long enough before I give up, or I just fall asleep when Im at about 500..

I remember using the counting method. I once WILD at 25 but that was the soonest for me and then I realized I didn't need to count. I took the idea of counting as a way to mindlessly focus on something while yourself went to sleep and started dreaming. After gaining enough memory of the experience of WILD, I just kept my mind quiet until the the dream had fully started.
I suggest alternating from both your current counting method and sometimes trying out the silent method. By the way, my highest count was around 180. I think the more you experience getting into the dream the lower the count and the faster you go through the Hypnagogi Images.

Personally, I just keep counting. It will happen again and again but eventually it will work out for you. Eventually you won't be able to count and you will be dreaming. Hopefully then your urge to count will remind you that you are dreaming and then you will become lucid.
