It all works
Vitamin B6, looking at your hands, spinning.... it all works!
Took a 100 mg B6 vitamin about 3 hours before bed. Upon falling asleep
I found myself in a small room, almost like a cell, except that it had ornate mahogony wood moulding and trim. For some reason I started looking at my hands. The moment of lucidity came when I realized that I had tiny hands sprouting from the tips of my fingers. Realizing I was dreaming, I started moving the fingers on these tiny additional hands.
At this point I started to wake up. Then I recalled reading about "spinning" (a technique I had never heard of before reading some of the posts on this site). Started to spin to get myself back into the dream... the best way to describe the sensation was like being in that little tornado that the Tazmanian Devil has in the Looney Toons cartoons.
It worked perfectly, and I was back in the room.
The dream continued from there, with a lot of elements including people wearing zombie masks who I tricked into going into the cell I was escaping and trapped them by telling them to "pull their own heads off if they wanted to be free."
Later I was chasing a Spanish Conquistador up the stairs in a huge mansion because he had answers I was looking for. Unfortunately I lost lucidity at this point and woke up before I could question him.
Well, there's always tonight....

Wow nice. I have to try B6 sometime, if my mom ever lets me. -.- Anyway, the way you described your dream. It sounds very cool and interesting. Keep at it~

Don't be over-anxious to gobble B6 vitamin pills. You can get a good natural source of it from a lot of foods. Bananas for one, and (so I have heard) from eating seaweed. Ancient cultures such as the Australian Aborigines didn't have supplements like we do and look at the dream skills they developed.

Peanuts, bananas, leafy greens i heard, but not sure of. Some where on this site though, i heard that B6 makes your dreams freaky and nightmarish. I rarely have nightmares even at times i feel that i could, i just remember what they are, and how they form.

Hard to say about the freaky and nightmarish. My dreams are almost always freakish to some degree. A few weeks ago I dreamed (without the aid of any supplements) that I was out on the ocean at sunset/almost dark on a fishing boat and I hauled in a net full of shrunken heads that were all screaming at me. The B6 does, however, seem to enhance the vividness... the real drawback though is that if I take it too close to bedtime it gives me insomnia :P
I am not an advocate of using supplements on any sort of regular basis though. I would rather be able to dream naturally and unaided whenever possible. I feel the same way about calea z. and salvia d. Especially the salvia. That stuff scared the living hell out of me more than once....

oh man salvia is fun. The only problem is that i was smoking weed at the time, so any dreams i had whilst sleeping in the afterglow/immediatly after the afterglow, i cant remember. Im a month and a half off weed and my dream recall is better than ever. IT is deffenatly worth kicking the THC for the recall.
But as far as the B6 goes, i was told that if not taken with B12, then your in for placebo effect. B12 helps the absorption of the B6. If you already have freaky dreams, then as far as B6 making them nightmarish, it might not. Its like being used to a cool swimming pool, getting out and drying off alittle, then jumping back in.
