Lucid dreaming without trying...

A few mornings ago, I had my fifth LD. And just like all of my other ones, I did it without trying. For all my lucid dreams, I have woken up in the morning, sometimes recording a dream, sometimes not. Then I would go back to bed with absolutely no intention of having a lucid dream, but I would end up having one.

Lately I've been trying the WILD method, but I have found that after counting to about 200 I just cannot stand doing it anymore and I have to stop and let my mind wander. Anyway, this morning, I didn't try any technique. The thought of having a lucid dream didn't even enter my mind, and yet I had one.

Has anyone else had this problem? What did you do to fix it? I figure I might give WILD another shot, but are there any other suggestions? Thanks in advance!
