Idea from a dream
Hi, haven't had an LD in months. But just now I took a short nap and I dreamed I was in a building complex with grey brick walls and lots of people. As I walked nearer the walls, I think to myself that to recognize that I'm in a dream is to treat waking reality as a dream because there's no difference and after that thought, the scene became much clearer and detailed maybe because I treated that 'reality' as a dream. It sounds kinda feasable but I can't think of any method to try it out, anyone has any ideas?

Yes, the tibetian dream yogis use this technique. It takes the longest to master, but is supposed to be the most rewarding.

This is a nice method. Whenever I try to do something like this I treat reality and dream as two parts of one life. There is one awareness that shares both lives. The important thing is to think that both parts are equal and treat dreams seriously, pretty much taking responsibility for your actions.
This is a VERY easy thing to fake, but it's really hard to get it and maintain that feeling. I did that a couple summers ago, i even considered that a "mini enlightment". But from then on I wasnt able to maintain this feeling for more than 2 nights and other times I felt like i was faking it.
But when I do succeed with this method my dreams become a lot more serious, there are running consequences (action in one dream may cause a reaction during some dream in the future).
PS, this method works best with the "noninduction" technique, I posted it somewhere. Pretty much you go to sleep without practicing any technique. You acknowledge the existence of lucid dreaming, but do not try to induce or forget about lucid dreaming. The whole concept is sitting somewhere in the back of your head. Again, this is a hard feeling to maintain.
