I've always used 200mg of B-6 when focusing on dreaming and lucids etc. But recently I've been setting my computer alarms to play some THETA tones I created (4AM) and my dream re-call has been just as good as when I used B6.

I'm interested in why you chose to use theta. I know theta waves are linked to learning and memory, which I suppose might help you to remember your dreams, but I would have though beta was the more obvious choice, to bring yourself to more consciousness during the dream.
Typically on most mind machines and or entrainment software Theta is used for lucid dreaming. Its the step above deep sleep (delta). You can use Theta also for meditation; but Theta should keep you on the edge of sleep. So far I've had excellent results, I have entered a Lucid from Theta recently.
;)
When you create theta tones, how do you modulate them? Or do you have special speakers for the low frequency?
The more I research; they are realizing you don't really need special speakers (as long as they are decent) or now you can make files using Monural beats so you do not have to use headphones. They have just as much as affect as binural. Outside of that I dont do any special modulation. I like to use a low filter that ramps up and down when using background sounds like waves or winds etc. It just creates a cool effect and very tranquil.Quote:

Even if you are using Theta frequencies programs usually allow you to change the pitch of the tones, so you can have it high or low!
Can you post a link to an audio sample? It seems by your signature that you are in a research group, is that correct? Have you published any documents avaiable to the public? Do the sounds in any way affect your mood?
Here's the last post I did in the Lucid Induction Mp3 Thread: (really long thread). I personally believe in Entrainment, I think frequencies and binurals affect the brainwave patterns. There are so many great applications for entrainment. Check out Transparentcorp.com.Quote:

Here's the latest file I've been using. Again its Theta hz ranging from 10-4 with some white noise and filtering.
EDIT: Note, I'm starting to notice when ever I hear these files in the dreams I cannot hear the drones or tone frequencies and white noise etc. I only hear the voice. Does this happen with anyone else?
The commands are: (no order)
"You will have a lucid dream!"
"This is a dream!"
"You are dreaming!"
"If you can hear my voice, you are not awake!"

Got one question tho, when should i start playing it? or can you just start playing it just when you go to sleep and from there just loop it all the night?
or is it during time X - X :|
My best success is the WBTB method. I would wake up around 3 AM, do a mild task then go back to bed and play the file and let it loop until you wake up (say 6AM). Concentrate on the images/HI's and typically you can go directly into the dream lucid.Quote:

Should this be used with or without headphones?
