The question is pretty much in the description: what might be a good time of the day to take a nap for WILDing?

If there's anyone here that actively WILDs during naps or has done so at least once or twice, I'd appreciate any input.

I was thinking of taking a nap at about 3 PM. Any thoughts?

I think the actual time is irrelevant, it's when your body is ready to rest but not too deeply. Depending on how tired you are will affect your chances on riding the waves of conciousness. I think any daytime nap is a good time to WILD!

Heh, too bad I don't seem to be all too aware of my own exhaustion.
Tried a nap in the middle of the day closer to the evening yesterday. Got my body relaxed to near numbness but my mind just kept awake. -.-

Ah well, maybe an hour later or after some physical exercise.

actually the time is relevant, at least as far as how tired you are. there are 2 great times for lucid naps, one is around 2-3, and the other, most common and a favorite of mine, is the one right after you wake up like, "OH MAN I'M REALLY LATE!!" then realize it's a saturday. or if you just wake up without freaking out, that works just as well, but those are great times to RC and drift back to sleep
as i was falling asleep last night, i said to myself, i will remember my dream, i will know i'm lucid, i will know i'm lucid, i will know i'm lucid. then i saw dinosaurs running at me and i said, "Holy Crap! i wish i was dreaming!"
