When you WILD are you supposed to feel wide awake while in SP?

Yes

While in SP are you supposed to be aware of sounds outside your body?

In my experience, yes

While trying to WILD, at what point do you stop hearing sounds outside of your body?

When your body falls asleep - after about half an hour for me

When I'm in SP I can't move, but if I absolutly want to I can. It feels more like I don't have the will to or sometimes I can't feel my body, but usually just very numb and stuck to the bed. Is this the way SP works when trying to WILD?
[/b]
No, if you can move at all, it's not sleep paralysis. Although you do go numb, but that is one of the first things to happen, sleep paralysis happens just before your body falls asleep. The "stuck to the bed" thing is normal too, but again, it is one of the first things to happen.

A few nights ago I caught myself "swinging" my arms while trying to WILD. After I realized it, it stopped. At that point I tryed to move them, even though I could still feel my real arms. I tried to concentrate really hard to move my arms and I felt like I was moving them even though I felt my real arms on the bed. Was I in the dream and all I needed to do was to open my eyes or do I need to concentrate more until I can see and walk?

Sounds like you needed to leave it a bit longer, until you could see.
