Trouble With Wild And Tild

so i've been trying wild for about 3 weeks now, and tild as well, as they are nearly the same, and every time i try, i somehow loose focus and next thing i know, i'm awake, and while i usually remember my very interesting dreams, i don't ever attain lucidity.
why do i always lose consciousness?

Have you ever been aware of your eyes rapidly moving?

no i haven't. i've gotten the vibrations a few times, but mostly that only startles me and i come out of them pretty fast. this afternoon nap though i had them for a while till i got "woken up" out of them to do some church thing, cause i didn't leave myself enough time
