That some people are incapable of having Lucid Dreams? Or is definitely a learnable thing no matter what?
You know, i had my doubts after a couple of weeks. Since i am at college now and ive been getting wasted every night i kind of forgot about it (i neglected to right in my dream journal or take my vitamins). But when i least expected, i accidentally fell into an LD. I though it was never gonna happen because the idea was kind of impossible to me. YES!! OKAY!! I HAD A LAPSE IN FAITH!!!!! IS THAT WHAT YOU WANT TO HEAR!!! HUH!!!!!!! YOU WANNA BREAK ME DOWN!!!!!!!!! FINE!!!!!!!!!& #33;!. Just give it time and dont make it a huge part of your life, and your subconscious will do the rest. And i strongly doubt that anyone absolutely CANNOT LD. Unless they are on life support. Its all about the right mind set.
Happy dreams
I think that everyone has the capability of having lucid dreams. Just some people find it easier than others.
Maybe if they had brain damage to that part of their brain or something.... But that's a big maybe; I'm no expert. I think everyone has the ability, personally. For some people, it's just a matter of learning to do it.
I have a learning disorder that does damage to white matter on the Right side of the brain. And since the right brain is where abstract ideas and creativity is derive from, that may be why I have trouble. Maybe it is just a thing that some people have, can learn, or cannot, but I just started I guess i'll decide when I should stop trying.
Negative thinking goes a long way. If you think you can't, you probably won't. Don't stop trying.
I assume people with insomnia would find this to be impossible
If you can dream, you can lucid-dream. The only thing holding you back, is your bad motivation. Try slowing down on it. Leave lucid-dreaming for a 2 weeks or a month. Just keep your dream-journal. Some people reports, that making up their own lucid-dreams (in their DJ) helps a bit. I've not tried this, but it sounds plausible.
I do have a positive outlook. If I get experienced enough, i'll experiment with OBE's or WILDs. I'll always question in my dream if I can remember, which I am still working on. No drugs though. I don't want to try anything like that.
