This technique worked so well for me last night. I've been in a dry spell for so long and then I just used this Tech and remembered 3 dreams and three fragments of dreams, one of which was a highly vivid, possibly lucid dream!
Sounds pretty impossible for someone like me

True. It may be the first thing that pops into your head, but after an hour, it certainly isn't still there.Quote:

Yeah you could keep trying, but I wouldn't try for long because then you'll probably lose your recall as if you really gave up.Quote:

As for how long the technique will work for you - I dont know, but it gets progressively more difficult. For example I may maintain the "not thinking" state of mind for a couple days but then I give in to expectations and ruin my chances. This may help - when you think about lucid dreaming during the "noninduction" phase you know that you have ruined the technique. My tendency is to try to "fake" the technique, but it never works. So if you messed up the technique just give up and try something else.
PS: I'm glad that the technique is working for other people as well :D
