A Brilliant 100% Way To Have A Good Lucid Dream That You Want ( A Bit Like Noins )

OK i tried this and it has worked brilliantly for me. ok all you need is a tape recorder and speak into it saying these things :)

1) I Will Remember My Dream
2) I Will have a good memorable lucid dream
3) I will control my lucid dream
4) It will happen every night

say it over and over around 2-3 times and then in the afternoon or night before you go to bed go to this website at http://www.hypnotictapes.com/images/...in-revised.swf and turn on the tape recorder and stare into the spiral so you will get a trance

what is happening is while you are in a trance the words from the tape are getting into your sub-conscious mind so it will happen

Repeat if necessary so the words sink into your mind.

Also Mp3 lucids are great too and before going to bed have a piece of chocolate cause that does wonders too

thats not such a bad idea if you can get a copy of BrainBullet it has messenges in it to help have lucid dreams and combine it with the website

That's because your eyes are getting to used to the spiral patterns. When you look away, your eye will make up the pattern it self. Just an after effect, nothing to be afraid of.

Thanks I'll try this once I hit my dry spell (typically after 4-3 lucid dreams in 3 days I'll hit a 7 day dry spell).

And then I can judge whether or not the said 'sonnet' is worthy of the Higher Dream Mind.

Yes, he probably dreams of Cowboys and Indians every night -- childhood dreams. He supposes he is Lucid, but we have no idea what he considers 'control' to be. So this challenge was meant to stretch him a bit.

yes, and besides, we will see whether he can still dream after he at least hits adolescence. many young children can dream, just like many young children have imaginary friends or wet their beds. It doesn't last.

I started off empathising with qwikjus, simply because Leo did respond in an unnecessarily harsh way at first, and because I'm loath to side with Leo being arrogant and aggressive as he is. However I fiond that Leo's right in at least a few ways: I do find it annoying when people post '100% success' methods (because no method is absolutely successful in itself, and usually any of these apparent ones are much less effective than simply MILD!) and I do find it annoying when people don't even bother to write properly, considering how little effort it takes.

It didn't help that qwikjus decided to precipitate a flame war either.

So, I'm going to have to go with Leo this time, and I'd like to see this sonnet.

He means it worked 100% for HIM. Not so sure about the rest of us.

I always enjoy reading peoples new ideas, because it keeps me thinking about LDing, and sometimes helps with ideas of my own. I agree that no method is 100%. But surely anything that helps in any way is good...

I'll adapt some of these methods and see if it helps with my LDing, thanks for the tip ^^

Did you check when Kaniaz joined? Briefly, it was before the age-15 rule was established, so if you would like, then feel free to look up ex post facto. Any why shouldn't we enforce the age rule? It's there for a reason. (But I decline to continue the discussion in this post; PM me if you wish to say more.)

I think Raylin said it best, though that it does get rather old hearing the "best technique ever" title being strewn about. Verbal/auditory affirmations are effective when attempting to gain lucidity, but the amount of time it may take to be effective varies from person to person and isn't necessarily the key to achieving it. It's about motivation, will power, desire, and usually just plain hard work.

Leo, you got some pretty warped views on things. I gotta agree with the people when they say, Just shut the fuck up already.

Now, to the Topic Creator....

I've never had much success with Audio Induction. Auto Suggestion works best for me. I once used it, and after saying "I will wake up after every dream" only 1 time, I ended up waking up after every dream just like I wanted, for almost 2 weeks straight until I finally told myself to stop. Although Inducing Lucidity has been somewhat troublesome doing that, I have had fairly good progress.

I'd find it annoying because I don't have a computer neaby, so that leaves me with a discman. Last time I fell asleep with my discman on; earphones still in and I snatched it right off my bed and onto the ground! :blue:

This thread is getting REALLY, REALLY, TIRESOME. It started out fine with an interesting new idea, then degenerated into Leo's flamepit, then into all this irrelevant crap. Since it isn't going anywhere, let's end it and move on.
