ok, ive been trying WILD for a couple nights now based on a DVD i ordered from saltcube metaphysics (www.saltcube.com highly reccomended watch) and it emphasizes the idea of "speaking the body's language" to induce sleep, which obviously involved first and foremost being completely still and relaxing the eyes. i have been using the counting breaths method for relaxation/concentration and it really seemed to work last night, however, i keep running into a problem where i will feel like there is so much saliva collecting in the back of my throat and it makes me really uncomfortable until i just cant take it anymore and i end up swallowing. i read somewhere that a solution can be to place your tongue on the roof of your mouth, does this work for anyone? if not, what do you guys do to solve this problem.

remember that when you are falling asleep AND actually asleep, you still swallow. Its impossible not to. My advice is to swallow and just not think about it. Keep a laser beam focus of attention on what you are doing, and it wont bother you. Just dont focus on it.
I had my second WILD last night, and the swallowing was not a problem. Just dont let it bother you. Thats the best advice i can give you.

so its ok to swallow? like, it wont make me have to start the process of shutting down my body all over again?

no, it wont make you start over. You do it when you are falling asleep (not wild), so its okay to do it then.
