Just a small question concerning WILD..
After getting back into bed after staying up for a while after sleeping 5-6 hours.. are you supposed to feel tired? Or are you supposed to be nice and awake? I thought if you were very awake HI wouldn't start and neither would SP and you wouldn't be able to get back to sleep... but being too tired means you will just fall asleep. What do you guys do after waking up?

you need to have that perfect balance for it to work. so do whatever it takes to get that balance. However in my opinion it would probably be better to lean towards the more awake side than the more asleep side. Just cause the only thing being too awake could do to your wild is making it take a little longer. If your too tired you will just fall asleep.

I have had the most experiences with lucid dreaming in the morning. Every morning I get up an hour after my girlfriend gets up to go to work- so I wake up when the alarm goes off and then fall in and out of sleep while she gets ready for about 45 min and then I usually fall back asleep for another half hour or so. That is the point when I most often begin to lucid dream. At that point I am still tired but I am awake enough not just to fall asleep. I definitely feel more awake when I begin to lucid dream than I do when I just fall asleep.

It appears as though we are supposed to be awake, I tried my first WILD a couple hours ago after a 2 hour nap, caffine free. I got some new sensations but no dreaming.
Why would I drink caffinated beverages??
So I stand by your question brother, why be awake for WILD?

It helps to be well rested but still tired 6-8 hours of sleep before hand
