First Wild Attempt, and a Question.

Last night, I tried WILD twice, neither attemped worked, but I pinpointed my problem, but I could use help. Here, Ill run my scenario then ask my question.

Ok, right when I lay to go to bed, I luanch into it. Afterawhile my whole body tingles then goes numb. I was on my stomach. I had a pain by my heart the whole time, a slight pain in my back, and my throat was dry. But, I preserverd. My main porblem was my hypno-imagry. If I didn't focus on it, it wasnt there, if I did it came and went, and wouldn't come anymore. (I did this for 1 1/2 hour)

So, I got up changed poistion and went on my back. My body started to go numb again, but Im not sure if it ever went completly. It might have, but my hypno imagary still was giving me trouble. The pain was gone tho.

Then I gave up and went to bed.

So,two questions actully.
1) What can I do about the images and stuff
2) When I am Attempting Wilds am I losing sleep?

I never see the images so I don't know. I know you don't need to see the images though, so don't worry to much about it. Just do the best you can.

As for your second question, I always wondered that myself. When I try for like an hour or so I feel pretty rested and normally can't fall asleep after doing that. You don't get REM sleep though so I don't know if it counts.

1. Hypnogogic Imagery. Focus on it, not to hard, but watch it 'go by'...don't try and control it, just watch it. It will start with little flashes, then huge enveloping flashes, then perhaps faces/things, then it will go to minimul scenery, then to a dreamscape, or rather a scene...this is when you enter the dream!

2. Yes...you will loose alot of sleep attempting to try WILD...if it takes you a long time to go to sleep.
