During some of my dreams I see things that aren't possible and it's pretty obvious, but it never makes me think if I'm dreaming. This morning I fell asleep right after I took a shower, and I was thinking about waking up in around 30 min. I had a short dream about me waking up and when I looked at the clock instead of it saying 6:50 or whaever it was a time vs. a time. I don't know what the numbers were but it would look like 7:00 vs. 6:30, and I still didn't recognize I was dreaming. Is there any way to recognize it easily.

I have the same experiences - I know how you feel! It happens all the time - especially with the digital clock. But, I have had about two or three lucids just from looking at the clock as a reality check.

Basically, all you have to do is more reality checks. Whenever I look at the time, or my digital clock, I use it as a reality check (I think this every time), and look twice or more. It will come with practice one day - trust me.

And about the 'impossible' - to recognise these situations more often, though it's harder than the clock rc, you must use another rc. All you do is observe your environment, check that everything is ok - and that nothing is weird. Do it often.

More importantly, overall you (and me lol) need to practice reality checks in difficult situations, such as partys, arguments/conversations, emotional states. This is because you rarely will have a chance to do a rc for the hell of it in a dream, ie you have nothing else to do. You are almost always occupied in a dream.

      Hope it helps.
