Hi, I'm in a dry spell lately....bad recall and low vividness. But I remember that when I do WBTB and do some analytical thinking for sometime I usually get vivid dreams and remember most of the dream. Last night I did that for half and hour(2.30am to 3.00am) and I got a vivid dream and remembered the details. I woke up a second time(close to dawn) but I just went back to sleep and it returned to bad recall and low vividness. Maybe someone posted about this earlier....but I just thought of it last night.

Yup your clarity increases during later REM periods. this is usually close to when you wake so these dreams are recalled better. The WBTB is excellent for vividness. .
