You can just try to get good at DILDing... (realizing your in a dream while inside.)
WBTB doesn't involve a trance, look for the link in my sig.
yeah... well... WBTB IS FRIGGIN' HARD IMO... Note not everyone is a WBTB master... though I have have had weird experiences where I wake up for a few seconds and fall back to sleep and I am lucid... that is the extent of my WBTB abilities.
metcalfracing.... try doing wbtb for 5-10 minutes... concentrating on LDing the whole time. i find this to be EXTREMELY effective for me. no staying up for 30 minutes anymore.
to recap:
-go to sleep.
-wake up after 4-5 hours.
- stay awake for 5-10 minutes concentrating on LDing.
-go back to bed.
ya... I'll probably give your method a shot this weekend... I can't be bothered tonight... got jury duty (Joy) to do in the morning and I don't want to be tired and miserable through it.
yeah you should try it, because with time you can induce LDs at will with this...
if you have the patience to consistently WBTB. ha.
yeah, in my method I really try hard to "know" I'll have a high chance at lucidity, it's kind of a confidence thing, I've been doing the wbtb wild alot lately, this morning I had my first full wild.

Dang it luciddreamgod!!!!! 168 lucid dreams... I have like 5 under my belt... How did the wild turn out?
Yes, though I woke up around 6 hours that might give you more time for success throughout the rest of the night
Well it took years through on and off luciding, I'm not as good as I'd like to be but it's coming along fine, as for the wild I just used a visualizing technique that a friend told me about who literaly is a lucid god, I started visualizing then when i went back to check how relaxed I was I couldn't really feel my body and I felt a rolling feeling and I ended up with 2 long lucids one were I tried to go to dreamviews and another were I tried to break into my school.
to do the wild I had to wake up and imeaditly start the visualizing technique, else I can't fall asleep, and it takes a large amount of focus at 5am in the morning :P
