whenever i RC during the day, 95% of them are done at random times. i just remember to do one. nothing weird happens, no one says the word "dream", etc. it seems like when you DREAM though, you're more likely to have a DILD when something really strange happens. you see a three headed monster or realize that you have 7 fingers on one hand. problem is, our waking world is very predictable and operates on physical laws like gravity, etc.
can anyone think of a way around this... i RC all the time and rarely have a LD. WILD'ing just isn't doing it for me (yet... i've been trying for several weeks and i'm not giving up, but it's frustrating). there has GOT to be a way to make daytime RC's count more... get more "bang for your RC", if you will. :)

try setting an alarm for an rc. when the alarm rings do an rc. then set the alarm at night. when the alarm rings when you are asleep...hopefully you will do an rc.

the problem with the alarm thing is that as soon as it goes off while i'm sleeping, BAM! i'm awake. so i don't really know how that one would work. something like the NovaDreamer, giving you cues that won't wake you up, but not crappy (i've heard it sucks... soooo everyone please don't reply telling me how much it sucks because i've already heard).
maybe i could put it on vibrate and put it in my pocket or something. only problem there is that my cell is my only alarm since the power goes off at my house all the time and i have to have a reliable alarm for work.

yo dude, ive had the same problem,
so i thought id play around a little, i have a casio tv watch great fun but anyway every hour it goes off, beep beep, so when it does an i hear it i do a RC, ok all great but, i am one big deep sleeper, id sleep through my house alarm, so when i clip my watch to my bed side it goes off every hour in the night, and it never worked, so i thought of a new idea, i simply recorded my watch beepin on the computer, got a audio edit program, then got like a relaxin back track thing, and overlapped it so it beeped like every 15 mins, now its on my mp3 player so when i go to bed i put it on
but see heres the problem, i think this would be good to use, but im havin difficulty rememberin my dreams anyway so i cant tell, but ive just bin distracted lately
so if ya like the idea get yaself an average sports watch an it should beep every hour, an bout a month after doin this you could play around with the audio edut thing.
good will trying,
peace out fella
