I think that the fireworks are a good thing, but im not sure. Some people say no, ignore them, look for HI, other people say to concentrate on it, others say that you need to just notice it while waiting for the HI. But i think that if you concentrate on it, your brain will turn it into HI.
hey 'Dirtbiker CRE' thanks fir the reply and i have concentrated on it before but all that happens when i concentrate on it is that it moves away from my vision
its Dirtbiker_CRF its kinda hard to see. Anyway, try pretending that you are making the black square that you see, into a 360 wrap around in your mind. Or even the inside of a sphere is better. Then think that there is more fireworks that you can't see on the other part of the sphere, put your mind can see it. Then look behind the stuff that you can see. I find that if i look behind it, i see it more clearly.
I would suggest you read billybobs tutorial on WILD. It really sounds like your trying to force HI. HI doesn't come for everyone so don't wait for it.
thanks for the help guys and ill try that sphere thing tonight thanks
The fireworks I'd say is HI too, like the first stage of HI. I only have fireworks too, though I haven't tried much WILDing yet.
What do you mean fire work effect? You sea lights? or fear them? That does sound like HI though! So you are close but not quite there yet. Just keep at it and you'll get there.
I know exactly what you mean by fireworks. I rarely have gotten HI when trying to WILD. But I always have fireworks.
Sometimes it turns into a bright ball in the middle of my vision. Sometimes shooting stars. I've only really had HI once (you'll know when you get it). Streaks of colors shooting across.. it was pretty cool.
For me, I focus on the fireworks. It's hard to not fall asleep, but if you don't, what I notice is the sound in the room either dissapears, and reappears, (ie I hear the fan/humidifier running, then nothing, then back and forth) or instead of nothing I hear sounds/voices in the dream world.
When that happens, I know I'm close! Also, at this point it seems the fireworks go away. Pure black. And I have to wait for the right moment to open my "dream eyes". Then things start. Normally dream sounds help with that.
Hard to explain. :) But once it happens, you'll know.
in my experience you don't want to focus on the 'fireworks' when trying to WILD. For me, in order to WILD, I just lose awarness of my visuals, just like I was falling asleep, then at the point I notice a discernable object I focus on the object and a dreamscape slowly forms. I learned to WILD by using WBTB and it just naturally started happening. I stare at things like fireworks while meditating, if im persistent enough it usually leads to more complex visuals, but unfourtenately I've never once entered a trance or a lucid dream while meditating.
Ok, so when you say that you don't need the HI, what else are you looking for. Cause i think that i felt the shimmer of energy of whatever, but i didn't think that i was dreaming cause i didn't see anything, should i try to do a RC the next time that happens?
I see lots of HI while waiting to WILD that I pay no attention to, its chaotic and 2 dimensional, for me its just a sign that I am able to WILD at that moment. At some point the HI stops and it is like Im in a dark room and all I can make out is the outline of a single object, this is the moment I start focusing on the outline and as the object becomes clear the dream forms and my awarness returns. Biker you could do an RC or you can look around for something to focus on, for me it is usually a faint outline, and if there isn't anything I will think about lifting my hands up and suddenly I will be able to see the outline of my hands and I focus on them which makes the dream form.
Close to how it happens for me. I actually had to "open my eyes" both times. May be a way of my brain adjusting. It really felt like if I did "open my eyes" it would be doing it in real life, but it was only opening my "dream eyes". That's how "real" the WILD felt for me.
ok, thank you so much. im gonna try it tonight. ill post in a few!
legbuh, good point, i've had to open my dream eyes several times before when trying to have a WILD, i haven't thought about doing that in a long time though so I guess its just automatic now.
