OK, so in continuing with my celebrity induced LD theme I'm going one step further. One of the most vivid and thrilling dreams I ever had was one in which I was talking to Frank Zappa, my hero. We were in the Make A Jazz Noise Here club, very fitting for a dream location being that it's a conundrum of sorts, tiny outside huge inside. I was watching him play a set and afterwards he came down into the audience and sat and chatted with me. I was such a "fan-boy" I couldn't stop babbling on and on, then he asked me to join him as he was leaving but I was all pre-occupied with the fact that I had forgotten the T-shirts that I had bought (I'm a T-shirt-aholic, always have been, a fetishist even maybe) at the show and I had to go back and get them, then the dream faded. I would SO love to have that dream again, it was one of the most real I've ever experienced, I felt afterwards as if I had actually talked to Frank. So, I'm going to use the auto-suggestion method (like what I'm doing with the Easter Bunny) and put this image at the head of my bed in the hopes that it being the last thing I see before I fall asleep will prompt another dream there.

Heya SKA, have you been to that one coffeeshop where the owner just plays Zappa? I found it very near the end of one of my trips to Amsterdam, I was so dissapointed that I hadn't found it sooner. I could sit there for hours, being that I didn't have any of my Zappa CD's on the road with me and most of what I heard on the radio or anywhere else was pure shit, it was a ray of sunshine on an otherwise cloudy day. Damn I love that city. We attended the 8th annual Cannabis Cup (saw the wedding at the Pax Party House) and I tasted a vaporizer for the first time with Eagle Bill at the Hemp Expo, he told me about how he designed the bowl for it in a lucid dream, long before I was into dreaming very seriously, how cool is that, huh?

well about 20 years ago I was lying in bed.I had a Zappa poster on my wall.Frank playing his sg.You will not believe this but the poster came to life.I had my eyes shut but could still "see" the poster which had become animated.He was playing Rat Tomago(one of my favorite Zappa solos)It was fascinating.I was watching real close.His finger movements seemed at the time to correspond to the solo,how it would have really been played.Great concert it was!
