Normally when I WILD I, only get out of bed for a few seconds and try to visualise something happening, which puts me to sleep very quickly. The other day I was awake for about 2 hours, found I was much too tired to work that night, so went back to sleep. I got these strange waves that would sort of hit me everynow and then. I don't know how to explain it, just like waves of gravity washing over me or something. Anyways, I started to get really crazy HI and found watching it got me deeper into this experience. I knew I needed to get to sleep because I didn't want to be tired to work, so stop watching the HI and slowly fell asleep. Are these waves I'm feeling the beginning of a WILD? I think watching the HI is the way I need to do it because visualising in my mind just puts me to sleep.

well, I'm not a WILD pro, but these sensations deifinitely are hypnagogery
you are in the right direction, but don't let these feelings make you doze off..
just keep a clear mind, and focus on whatever keeps your aware (body, breathing, external sounds, HI etc) and you'll do fine :P
once you enter Sleep Paralysis (which paralyzes your body for unintentional movements) these hallucinations will slowly create the dream scenario.. once you feel dream like then, all you have to do is enter the dream :P
don't know if you get what I said, but for sure you're going in the right way... and don't try to visualize anything at this point.. either you won't be able to relax or you'll lose consciousness, and that's not somehting you want :P
