Could I WILD in this way?
Hey, I've talked before about hypnic jerks, and looking them up I've found from Wikipedia that they occur mainly when you're overly tired. Well this afternoon I just caught the bus to get home from town; I was listening to my music through my headphones and I started falling into a dream (i.e. Random things were happening and forming in front of me).
I accepted these things (this is my problem when trying to LD; I just accept everything no matter how weird it would be in waking life) when suddenly I saw someone about to hit me with something, from in front. This startled me and woke me up - I physically leapt up in the real world and quickly started to cover myself with my arms.
A lady on another seat gave me a strange look! :p
Anyway, remembering what song I was before I started to fall asleep, I realised that this had all happened within.. 30 seconds? Do you think that I would be able to use this to my advantage? Somebody has said to me before that it seems like I tend to build up scenes rapidly, even straight from going to sleep (As I experienced today). Could this be used in conjunction with something else that would tell me that I was dreaming?
I've tried using WBTB with LucidRemix once before, but I've found that this has kept me awake, unfortunately. Maybe I'll try it straight from going to sleep maybe tonight, when I'm really tired! :)
Cheers.
PS: I tried eating some plain chocolate about 2 hours before, and then just before going to sleep a couple of nights ago, and I do think that it can help with vividness of dreams and dream recall. It was a 72% cocoa-containing plain chocolate, so pretty high. But in the morning I could remember three dreams, which I haven't been able to do in a while!
