first time lucid / wild

Hi people.

THe other day someone i know told me they could control their dreams, and seemed to think it was quite normal. Not having heard of this before, but allways being interested in sleap in general, i googled it.
Top of the list was this website, which i have read in full and learned all about lucidity.

That night i got my pen / paper at the side of bed to try and make a dream journel (which i read here is the first compulsory step). As i went to sleep i kinda chanted that i would remember my dreams under my breath. Anyways i remembered about 4 seperate dreams that night, waking during the night to write them down. The next morning i realised i hadn't written them down but had dreamt that i had :!:
Dunno if i was lucid, but i remember the atmosphere now being kinda hazy. But seeing as i dreamt i wrote them down, musnt i have been in control? dont remember thinking of doing reality checks coz at the time i never even thought i was asleep. kinda wiered and defeating the whole point of the reality check lol

Last night i decided to try out WILD. i was too eager to wait till 5-7hours so i tried it straight away. I kinda blanked my mind and just concentrated on counting. I was counting to the ticking clock above my bed, dunno if its a good idea to have that ??
after about 40seconds (i was already really really tired), the red glow u can kinda see through ur eyelids was swamped by blackness. i sort of got a strange feeling all over my body. wasn't sure if i was paralysed or not, but not wanting to wake up i didnt try and move. i could sort of see silverish light in front of me, a bit like a hexagonal metal piece floating towards me (not knowing what this was at the time, i just realised its like the key outta smallville i had watched the other day).
i kinda got excited, but had read that i shudnt. i went to smile but it was like my face was numb and i cudnt move. trying not to think of nething but the counting, i failed and the metal thing started fading. i tried concentrating on it but after about another 30seconds it went. i tried to will it to come back doing more counting, but it wudnt. i opened my eyes and it was like flicking a switch. the feeling had gone and i was just lying there awake.

i rolled over and tried again a few times but cudn't do nething so just went to sleep.

as before i remembered each dream but woke for real about 6am. i was proper tired and thought that this wud be the best time to try again. i tried to count but i was so tired i cudnt even do that :? kept loosing it. neways suddenly i had a similar feeling come over me, but instead of seeing that metal thing i got a painful pinsandneedlesish feeling in my feet. it kept getting more intense but i concentrated on ignoring it or not moving rather and then i think i fell asleep :cry: i don't remember doing nething else awake after that.

however, all the dreams i have had (which normally i only vaguly remember about 3 a week) these last 2 nights i remembered em very clear.

i think i have WILD'd before without realising it. About 10times throught my life i have had a strange dream. its almost as if everything around my in my bedroom zooms in (not literally) or intensifies. there is useually some sort of unexplainable invisible route around my room where either i or something else keeps going round. i have to perform a specific action at certain times otherwise its kinda like i am trapped there forever. i useually wake up nightmare style after the horror of realising im gonna be like stuck there forever (which allways happens eventually). its very hard to explain and is allways to vague when i awake to understand properly, but it drives me crazy and i must know!!
if i can eventually learn dream control then maybe i can stop and examin things logically instead of having loads of unanswered questions the next day which never even crossed my mind during the dream.

i think tonight ill have a drink of coke or summat ready to drink in early hours to help me keep my mind awake.

i kinda finding myself looking forwards to going to bed now lol

anybody got any info or tips etc they can give me or whatever i be very grateful.
