The house of lucid (my First Long LD)

The house of lucid
I woke up in my basement noticing my friend David was on the couch next to me. At first I didn’t realize I was dreaming. But after a couple of minutes I began to realize things were not feeling right. So I did an RC. I plugged my nose and breathed in and BOOM I was there I was calm surprisingly… Everything was really dark… I wanted to see tropical land. I requested it but didn’t seem to work. SO I decided to see what my house looks like to me in a dream. So I went into the storage closet. I tried turning on the light but reaching out and talking was very difficult almost like talking with a mouth filled with crackers lol. That room looked about the same size but really empty. So I left that room. Then I did something that blew my socks off! I flew in MY….BASEMENT! Sure everyone flies in there dreams but that seemed the most fluid way of moving around. After trying to go the ceiling and failed I went up the stairs. Oh My dream only stayed lucid because I closed only one eye. I don’t know why that worked but it did. So once I got up stairs I saw my Mom packing for a trip. Then I tried talking to her then I woke up.
It was wbtb that i used BTW
ANd It felt really real when I looked at my hands and feet. when ever I felt like i was loosing lucidity I would just look at my feet.

That's a pretty cool dream, because I have yet to have a LD that lasted more than 20 seconds. I hope mine comes soon; so I am assuming that you accomplished this dream through DILD? If you don't mind answering I would like to ask if you RC often and how is your dream recall?

Well my friend lent me a book on lucid dreaming. And that was motivating. I didn't do RC through out the day. What I did is Wake Back To Bed Tech. Try that Tech out

I know you are psyched as there's nothing like a great lucid to make you feel good for a couple of days! :D
