This is true, in my opinion atleast. Mild?
mild what?
MILD is Menmonic Induced Lucid Dreams or autosuggestion in general..:). It also depends how badly U want LDs which affects intent.

I agree with that 100%... If it's something you're thinking about, like having a lucid dreaming, you have a high chance of having one.
like it all depends on your subconscious anyway, right?
You know some people can just decide that they will have a LD one night and they'll have one. I think that sometimes reading about techniques (like WILD, WBTB...) convinces people that they can't become lucid unless they work very hard at it, which does not have to be true.
I like trying to WILD. If I fail, I usally have a DILD soon afterwards. So yes, I believe that sheer will is a key factor. <3
but i mean like, your subconscious will just trigger one at will. like ive had 3 LDs in my life that i never planned for, or even thought about.
Well, correct me if I'm not understanding your question properly, but.. say you've never even heard of lucid dreaming and one night you have one. I don't think that's your subconscious saying, "Hey, tonight we're going to have a lucid dream because I secretly know what those are and I am going to bring them about." In those cases they must just be triggered by something.. food you've eaten, the way you've slept, something particular that happens in your dream that makes you conscious...
Meh?
