Dreaming & Napping
I've noticed that my most vivid, weirdest, and easily remembered dreams happen when I am napping. That or I just remember them better. I've also heard these things from other sources.
But does this increase the chances to have a Lucid Dream or are the chances just as much as dreaming at your regular time at night? All the lucid dreams I have had occur while sleeping at my regular time. But then again, I don’t take naps too often.

Naps are great for inducing Lucid Dreams, purely because you can remember any dream you have in your nap much more easily than when you sleep at night.
Unfortunately for me, I just can't nap... not really a nap person, nor can I get myself to fall asleep properly when napping. Oh well... I'll just have to stick to WBTB...

being lucid is between deep sleep and being awake so napping definitely can be easier if you got a technique down :D

Thanks! Speaking of technique, I think finding one to get lucid easier during napping would help out a lot. I’ll try to create/find one that would be easy for me.

I've found that yes, naps = better recall. In fact, I usually remember anywhere from 2-5 dreams when napping. Also, I've found it's extremely easy to "chain dream" aka DEILD. My recall after a night of dreaming is relatively minimal when it comes to details, whereas after a nap I can usually remember the entire dream.
All this talk of naps is making me sleepy, empty house, time to go enjoy one!

I've tried several times to have an LD during a nap, but I've always failed, since, either I can't fall asleep, or I do, but I never get any farther than sleep paralysis. Can anybody offer any advice?

I've tended to get vivid dreams when napping, none LDs though. But then again i have only had 2 LDs anyway

My dreams happen to be more vivid during the night. However, I found my dream guide in my nap.
