Help with DILDs please

Hey everyone

Just wondering if someone would be so kind as to offer some assistance. I had a successful DILD last night, well sorta. I became lucid in my "Dream body", but was not in an actual "dream" per se. It was just total blackness (or grayness maybe) and I was able to move around in my dream body and stuff but was unable to create any dream world.

Unfortunately, my alarm for 6:00 AM went off just as this was happening:mad:, so I don't know if I eventually would've got any further.

Any tips/suggestions on what to do in this type of situation (given my damn alarm isn't set the next time)??
