I was thinking: All times I have become lucid, except a few where I became lucid spontaniously, I came to the realisation that I was dreaming uppon doing a Reality check and it's result being "different from usually".
What if I go to sleep and as I fall asleep constantly focus on Remembering to do a Reality Check? And I mean a little more pronounced and penetrating than the simple MILD-Mantra: "next time I am dreaming I will recognise that I'm dreaming". Doesn't that sound like a catch 22 to you too? It requires you to be aware of that you're dreaming in order to realise that you are dreaming.
I mean to just concentrate on the desire to RC as long as you can before falling asleep unconciously. The thing is if only I'd remember to do an RC I know I can do the rest myself so maybe trying to engrave the memory to do RC's frequently and imaginening doing RC's.
Anyone?

I like this idea, i think I'll try this tonight instead of the "next time I am dreaming I'll realize I'm dreaming" mantra that i usually do.
