Imagination WILD

Alright - i may be weird or whatever but this usually works for me. I will wake up during or much after my REM period, and make sure that i am not dreaming. Then i use my imagination to construct a dreamscene or whatever and im conscoius throughout. Just this morning i was awake (after RC so i was sure) and all i did was close my eyes and try to picture my room with no objects in it, except for my bed, and soon enough i was LD'ing in my carpet room. Im just wondering if anyone else can do this or if just using your imagination has worked for anyone else.

It's a VILD (Visually Incubated Lucid Dream), a variation on WILD, and yes, I've done it once before.
