Yes.
Hmmm I don't want to give a one word answer, but to put it simply yes I have changed an entire scene, time of day, etc. It's somewhat hard and is most likely not going to work on a first try, but with some practice you should be able to get it down.
I've never tried to do something that dramatic, but it's definitely possible (mind over matter). The trick, I imagine, is how you go about changing the entire dreamscape.
BillyBob's tutorial really hits home on that account.

I managed it first try by spinning with my eyes shut and wishing to be somewhere else when I stopped.
Yes, best way i find is to go through doors or turn sharply :)
For some reason, this is one of the easiest things for me to do. At least it's easy to get rid of the present scene... a little harder to have the next one appear as I want.
Welll I have decided to elaborate a bit on my answer.
The easiest way to completely change the scenery for me was by reading one of Billybob's old posts(that he rewrote I guess) and it just talked about how fake(for lack of a more eloquent word) dreams were so there is really no reason that you can't change anything at a whim.
That post opened up a lot of possibilities for me.
Did the implied consequences of that method surface?
