The project was fairly easy but unfortunately I can't get to sleep with the goggles on. I had to modify the code slightly to give more sensetivity on the eye movement detector.
My next move is to move to a heart rate detector to detect REM as heart rate climbs sporadically to 160BPM in REM sleep, and have a piezo electric transducer on the back of my hand to administer a slight electric shock which I will hopefully feel in a dream to trigger lucidity. The advantage of this is that there is nothing on my face which stops me going to sleep.
Lemme know how this is working out for ya. I got an idea. Why don't you hook up the peizo transudcer to a simple digital watch, and have it go off like every half hour or every hour. When it goes off and you can feel the slight shock ask yourself if you are dreaming. . .then you can be like. . .nope I'm not dreaming. . .but when I am dreaming. . .I will have full control. . .etc. . . Then when you sleep with the kvasar mask on. . .you are already pre-programmed to feel this shock. . .WHAM!!! I'm a genius by design
