It's all in the title..........
sorry for the negitive news but there are only 2 ways that you can be 100% sure you will get lucid tonight.
1. if you naturally have LDs every night
2. if you are a master of WILD.
:( but you can try! make sure to do lots of reality checks for the remainder of the day, Try MILD before bed, then do a WBTB and MILD again. take some B6 if you have some, and keep positive :)
stay positive and use lots of auto suggestion, let the thought of lucid dreaming consume you.
Oh, and don't be mad if you don't get one tonight. One night I was absolutely SURE I'd have one, but I didn't and had one the next night!!
If you can literally be in TOTAL control of your thoughts 100% of the time, (i.e. not let your mind wander even ONCE) and be singularly focused on who, what, where, when, and even how you currently are, then you're guaranteed to have a lucid dream. I think natural LDers maintain this sort of constant-concentration the vast majority of the time, and thus have LDs almost ALL of the time.
I think there's a way to gain this type of critical awareness, though; you have to make the awareness so important to yourself that you naturally think about it all the time. Make lucid dreaming important to your subconscious as well as your conscious...
I hope that made some sense, and didn't sound all philosophicalish... :D
