I would like to know how many of you can attain LDs "easily", like one every night.
I just want to make myself an idea of the difficulty of getting to master this technique. So if I see that many of you can, then this will give me confidence to try because Ill know its really worth the effort!
I don't think I know anyone who can do it every night.... If they could would be quite an achievement. Although when I was in Ibiza I had LDs 5 of the 7 nights. I think the other 2 night were because I was so blind drunk I didn;t even remember my own name lol
I am 23 years old and have been lucid dreaming every night, sometimes 2-3 times each night for about 2 years or more.
I had always remembered my other dreams well, now I remember more and more of my lucid ones. I am so excited and blessed.
Usually, before I get really sleepy, I chant certain words. For example, I may spell out the word lucid, l-u-c-i-d. Or I chant, "I am lucid dreaming every night." I change it every night to prevent boredom.

I've got lucid by doing that before but others swear against it and say only a few times then go to sleep normal. But i've never got lucid that way.
OP: If you really are serious about 'mastering' induction, I'd recommend practicing WILD, not DILD methods (MILD etc). If you can WILD when you want, you can LD when you want.
I don't believe anyone can master LD'ing because the dream world and the subconscious is something that can never be fully explored, you may master inducing an LD but no one is truly a master, but then again thats just my opinion :cheeky:
this is funny actually. i have been lding all my life and just found out the term ld last week. i taught myself. well, actually, it comes naturally. i think it might be because of the large amounts of recurring nightmares i got as a young child. now just about 3-4 times a week i have lds and im talkin more than one in each of those nights. I just do reality checks which i invented on my own when i was around 10. i usually look at the nearest object twice, the second time it will be different if im dreaming. ive always done these reality checks awake and asleep.
EDIT: i still dont think im a master though. i still havev troubles controlling the environment, other characters, and not waking when startled. even after all these years.

It's good to want to stay grounded but nevertheless, build your dreams in the sky. Our success ratio's are by no means contingent on yours. Meaning that whether we've masterd LD'ing or not has no bearing on what you can or can't do with Lucid dreaming. And just cause you asked...whenever I truly want to have an LD, I typically do.Quote:
