I was wondering if this could work, set your alarm clock to 5-6 hours after you go to sleep on a soft radio station like jazz or classical, and have the volume set very low, and tell yourself if you hear music after I lay down I must be dreaming. I was wondering if this might be an easy technique for someone who hasnt had but a few lucid dreams and isnt to good at it?
Yeah, that's a really good technique. You can also set your clock to beep on the top of every hour. Make sure it plays during your periods of REM.
Unfortuantely for me, I'm a very deep sleeper and never hear soft music or my watch beeping. A sound has to be very loud for me to hear it, and when it is I wake up :(
hm, sounds good, but isnt it the complicated variant of 'I will recognize that im sleeping'? some kind of MILD ?

Sometimes, I can hear the audio books in my dreams. But unfortunately, I have never realised that I am dreaming with this method.
But hopefully, this method will help me one day.
heres a technique i used a couple of times..didnt work for me but i did hear them in my dream
i used to have this alarm clock that u can set to ring once or three times low or high..any who so i stayed up all day doing exersices and stuff so that later at night i wont have problems sleeping...so when i went to sleep ...i set my alarm clock to start right exactlly 75 mins after i close my eyes and to ring three times but on a low tone..so it did and i recall dreaming of beeping noises..anywho
the reason i set it to 75 mins is because thats usally when ur rem kicks in from the momment u fall a sleep
75 Minutes after waking up after 6 hours?
Or 75 minutes after going to sleep at night?
If you mean the second option... wouldn't that be a pretty fuzzy low level lucid - so early in your cycles?
75 minutes after going asleep.. a little crazy, since unless you've mastered time compression.. thats a real short REM period, i don't even know if you rem on you first cycle. I'd set it more realistically.. like 170 minutes.. at a minumum, cause at 75, you'll be in delta sleep and it won't wake you at all.
well if the goal is trying you could go with both and i do know that the first rem cycle is as short as ten mintues but i guess for a begginer that would be long enough to just experience it

the goal isnt waking you up..when a person is unconcious or sleeping that doesnt nesscerlly mean ur other senses arent working..ur ears subconciouslly either records things or just gets it in your dream..its the minds way of keeping you sleeping as long as possible to heal and repair the body while ur safe and sound in ur bed..even the nose works activelly as well by getting smell into ur dream if theres even something powerful enough to be noticed by ur bodies senses..okay ill shut my pie hole nowQuote:

yeah.. but alot of people when in delta sleep are DEAD asleep.. no alarm clock is gonna wake me then.. taste works pretty good in dreams too.. i was havin a feast this morning :-P .

How about if you set your alarm for extra early in the morning and press the snooze button over and over? Would that be an excellent opportunity for WILD's? Because I am light years from being a morning person, when I hit the snooze button in the morning, I am back asleep before my hand even makes it back to my bed. I usually do this for about an hour. I think I'll try it tomorrow morning.
