Is it possible to achieve a WILD without using caffeine? Has anyone here done it? Because I am trying to abstain from caffeine for awhile, but obviously I am also interested in lucid dreaming... is it even worth trying a WILD without?

I never use caffeine or other stimulants to WILD. They wake me up too much and I get frustrated, which doesn't help either.
In fact, I've found it best of for me to not even allow myself to wakeup totally. I will usually get up and walk around for a few minutes, try to become moderately awake my thinking about some kind of problem, and then back to bed.
That sounds like it would work for me too, I find I am too awake to go to sleep eaily after staying up for even 30 minutes.... thanks!
I found that WILD works best for me, I stay up till around 3 and use that relaxing sensation when you are coming down from being high as the backdrop for the mediation that startes the WILD. It seems to work, I have had 2 LDs that way (of 2 LDs).

caffeine is a bad thing.. if you wanna really induce LD's i recommend sleepin 3 hours in the day, then sleepin normally at night.. if you just wanna wild, sleep normally, or sleep for 3 hours and try one when you wake up..
I'm sure this will be argued, but however, it works here.. (and i need alot of sleep.. 12 hours at times)
Yeah, I agree with the above posters. I dropped caffeine and carbonation at the end of school and I've had a lot more lucid dreams lately. Plus I can run about four times as far! :D
