Did i go luicid?

:boogie: Ok so. Heres the dream. First i'm at my Old school that i went to when i was in 6th grade (i'm in 8th now). I was walking around it trying to find someone to play kick ball with. Then i see two people. one is a girl that i see in my 8th grade school but i never talked to her before . And the other is some guy that i hated back in 5th grade. Then i said to my self "Hey... what the heck are they doing" i got a weird feeling then i looked up into the sky and saw a cloud that turned into my head it said. "Hey ARE YOU LISTENING? your dreaming do something cool already!". Then i felt how cold it really was in the dream and how everything else felt. I thought "Hey i always wanted to control water" so i stretched my hand out and started moving it in circular motions. no go. all i got was little air waves vibrating and surrounding my hand. right then my counter part who was the cloud crashed down and head-butted me. I woke up.

So. What can i do to increase the ability to dream control. and did i go luicid or dreamt i went luicid

If find that it's fairly common to doubt early lucid dreams and think that they were just dreams about lucid dreaming. But, the rule of thumb is: if you know that it is a dream while you're in the dream, then it's a lucid dream. The reason we doubt, I think, is first that we are in the beginning unfamiliar with the territory, and second that early LDs generally have a low level of awareness and control.

That brings us to your other concern about control. There's no simple answer to that, so I would suggest checking out the tutorials section, and reading up on lucid dreaming (a book called Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming, aka ETWOLD, by Stephen LaBerge and Howard Rheingold is a good place to start). Then, once you've found out about how to have more LDs (if you don't know already), put those techniques into practice, and just practice being in the lucid dream world and controlling it.

To me that sounds like you were lucid because you said suddenly felt vividness in the dream which is what happens to me alot when i realise i am dreaming, and those sensations you suddenly felt came straight after the cloud told you that it was a dream (i wish clouds told me i was dreaming :()

Did you have any awareness that you were dreaming?

Hmm. I think i did. The bricks walls on the school building seemed to be changing from a light orange to a dark orange when ever I looked at them. That might of made be realize i was dreaming too.
