First off, I wish you good luck.
Second, I'm not very experienced, but I believe that reading other people's experiences can help you to understand...
So:
I'm not sure if I've ever been in full sleep paralysis, but usually counting (forwards or backwards) helps a ton. This and focusing on my breathing usually helps to clear my mind. Also, tapping my fingers (as in the FILD) method achieves a weird feeling (which I assume is SP) in my limbs.
Also, once you know what it feels like for you, you can sort of promote it by imagining feeling it more intensley or in other parts of your body.
Hope this helps. ;)

Most people won't be able to stay completely focused the entire time, the mind will tend to wander every so often but its up to you to try to keep it in check.
WILD is a difficult method, it takes a lot of time and patience. Just try not to get frustrated and keep at it, you'll get it.

I have entered Sp many times when I was trying to enter an OBE state. When I am lucid, I fly up and imagine my bed is above. I see it and can see through the bed and see my body. I float through the bed and try to float through my body, and then get stuck in the SP state. It has happened every time I have tried this.
