LDing on less sleep?
Apologies if this has been asked before... basically, I'm living on five or six hours sleep a night, so dream recall is up and down like mad - I've been keeping a dream journal but it dropped off after a dry spell so I have to get back into that.
What I was wondering is what are your opinions on the chances of LDing on less sleep? I'd like to get more sleep but right now it's not an option for me (it never seems to be...), so does anyone have any tips? Anyone done this and Ld'd to tell the tale?

I'd think it's be harder since the body uses deep sleep for restoring itself. However, because you are depriving yourself of REM, the next time that you can sleep for 8 or 9 hours you will have a ton of really vivid dreams.

Thanks! That'll be every other weekend then... I can live with that for lucid dreams. Think of it as something to look forward to :)

It seems to help me have lucid dreams when i have had less sleep the previous night.

I agree - when I am sleep deprived, I usually remember more dreams, especially if I sleep 10+ hours after being sleep deprived. But that's no reason to intentionally sleep deprive yourself lol!
