      Hair!

If there are any accomplished lucid dreamers (with long hair) out there, I pose this question to you:

Can you see your hair in front of your eyes in dreams?

I've never noticed before, so I was just wondering.

I used to have long hair... I shaved my head bald a month ago and regret it a lot, so I'm growing it back out. Since shaving my head, my long hair has been showing up a lot more in my dreams in a "yay! It's back!" sense, but it hasn't helped me obtain lucidity. rather, it usually takes me to the thought process "Woo, I must have been dreaming that I shaved my head!"

Before I shaved my head, my hair never really stood out in my dreams. I can't wait for it to grow back... It's gonna be a long time, though

I hear ya, Doubleoqueso. Can you actually see it like in front of your eyes, or only when you look in a mirror etc?

I'd appreciate it if a really good oneironaut could test this one out for me - it would be a really great reality check.

Well, it's not always in front of my eyes, just falls in front every now and then and I sweep it back like I did when it was long. I don't get in front of mirrors too often in dreams, really.

Ah ok, so you can actually see it - I might have made a technique out of that

I actually had my first lucid dream that way!
I had gotten my hair cut in real life. And I looked at a mirror in my dream and I had long hair. and realised I was dreaming.

      Nice one!

I'd try it, but it's a bit drastic.

I often experience the sensation of my Dreadlocks on my head in Dreams. Sometimes I will see myself in 3d person in Dreams. In some of those Dreams I'll see myself with Dreadlocks. Actually the only thing I've seen of myself in Dreams were my Face and my Hair. The rest were blurred and insignificant details.

But then again Both Eyes and Dreadlocks have a really strong spiritual/inward significance/meaning to me so that may also be the reason why I see my hair in dreams.

I've been growing my hair out for about a year, so for a while there it was in that really annoying, always in my eyes stage. When I dreamed it would get in my eyes sometimes, but usually only if the wind was blowing really hard or I was flying.

One of my most vivid and memorable lucid dreams was a short DILD. I became lucid looking in the mirror and one of the things I noticed most was my hair. I have long curly hair in real life, and in the dream mirror it was much straighter like I'd blow dried it, but still recognisably my own. While I've been aware of my hair in dreams I don't ever remember seeing it in front of my face. I'll have to keep an eye out
