Something wierd happened
I have never had a lucid dream before. Last night I dreamt that I was holding a baby in my arms. When I realized that this couldn't be mine and couldn't be my mum's, I then realized that this is a dream. I was very shocked/excited, when suddenly an image of an old man appeared looking terrified at me.
Then it seemed like (I don't know whether this is in the dream or in real life, but I'm always thinking it's the second) some THING was getting OUT of my body and no matter how hard I tried I couldn't speak. Then it was like I was forced to laugh, but my laughter was very hoarse and wicked. It was really freaky.

Could you explain this again? It is a little unclear.
So there was something inside your body trying to get out? And it forced you to laugh?
-
I think it was the laughter, right? After all, when you get uncontrollable laughter in waking life, it just errupts out of you and you can't contain it. At least that's what the explanation sounded like to me.
As for the event in the dream...well, dreams synthesise just about all our various feelings, emotions. In them we can dream of the most hilarious or most gruesome things but that doesn't necessarily mean anything, especially if you can't see any relation of that to your current waking life concerns.

Yes, it was this thing inside me that forced me to laugh in HIS voice
The scary thing is that it seemed so real
-
Could it have been a false awakening, the laughing part?
Just had to throw that out there.
-
Yes, that's what I thought later on..it might have been false awakening
The thing is, how could anything control me if I already know that I'm dreaming?
