My WILDing Experience (Close-eyed cross eye)

Well, right now, tell me if this sensation feels like entering WILD.

Close your eyes, then go as cross eyed as possible.

After you have done that, tell me if that is what it feels like, since that is what i felt, but I may have been crossing my eyes for some reason

Anyway, if you have answered my posts before you would know I did not like the idea of SP, but I am practicing WILD with naps as best I can. The first time I did it, I was on the verge of SP before a noise woke me up.

Yesterday, my feet REALLY hurt, but I did not move, and when i got up I was so tingly/weird that I did a bunch of RC's. I did not get as close. I think I'm trying too hard...

      Thanks for all the posts!

Well from my experience that doesn't feel like entering a WILD, but it seems to be different for everyone.
Help us grow. My lucid dreaming website. Yes I know it is pitiful.

That may feel somewhat like REM feels like when it begins.
      WILDs - 38
      MILD/DILDs - 44
      VILDs - 8
TILDs - 1 (Thirst Induced Lucid Dream, never going through that experience again...)
Total: 98 - So close to the big 100

Vance - Yes i know what you mean.

Close and cross your eyes, tilt your head back, and as you do so, breath in.

Thats what the start of SP feels like for me.

Sweet. A question though, when I last tried, my calf hurt SO **** much that I thought I was damaging it in real life. I told myself: Those aren't your legs, these are your legs (And I was imagining dream legs) but eventually it got to the point where I had to move, not so much because of the pain but because I feared of damaging my leg's circulation. I knew once I fell asleep that my body would roll over, but that didn't seem to be happening anytime soon. So I moved, and 20 seconds later my leg felt fine.

That sucked. I got in bed again and rolled on my side and tried to WILD, but after a while I just fell asleep for a long time.

Also, is imagining your limbs in a different position a good sign? My hands were on my stomach but then felt like they were under my back, then not there at all. Sometimes I felt tingling and vibration but then it went away, and I caught myself crossing my eyes numerous times I though I was going into SP.

One day, using Robert Bruce's ROPE technique, I seemed to experience the vibrations after only about 5 minutes.

I later realized that by looking at a spot between my eyes and shutting my eyes tightly, I was able to induce a sensation and sound in my ears and head very similar to the vibrations. I think it's just the straining of your head muscles resonating through your sinuses and eustation tubes.

I've since abandoned the ROPE technique. It just doesn't seem to work consistently for me.

This has been giving me a strange feeling often when I lay in bed, I think it's also some sort of meditational technique.

Yea one time my knees got really sore for no apparent reason, i ended up just having to move them. I think it is just your body testing if the mind is awake, before it goes into sleep paralysis. Meaning that if you do feel really sore/uncomfortable/itchy, it means your body is questioning wether you are asleep or awake, so you are infact close to SP.

Anyway since the knee incident, Ive managed to gain more mind power after having a battle with my mind during a wbtb session. Basically i was trying not to get lost in a train of thoughts and falling into a non lucid. Its a hard thing to manage at 4am! I was counting my breaths, and i was forgetting about what i was doing after every 2-3 breaths. I had to keep bringing myself back to my target of WILDing. This went on for about 10mins, seemed like years. Probably the most mentally straining thing in my life xD
