I've been trying to WILD and I'd been reading the forums all day when I came across a thread where it described a kind of hypnosis technique where you tell yourself you're going to count down from 100 to 1 (while taking breaths), and when you get to one, you'll feel a heavy weight across your entire body. It's supposed to get you to the point of SP.
Well it was about 2pm and I felt kinda tired and relaxed so I decided to try it. It worked! After I got down to 1, I felt the weight on my body, then I suddenly just felt like fully aware--as if I were very relaxed but with a heightened sense of concentration; but only in my mind, it was as if only my mind existed but on some secondary level, i could still feel my body laying in the bed. I then started to see brilliant colors and shapes flowing by. I was feeling this for a couple minutes, then all of a sudden I felt like a slow vibrating sensation. It started at my feet and was working its way up to my hips. Its kinda ward to explain but it felt really weird, I've never experienced anything like it! It was like a wave of vibrations moving slowly up my body and in its wake, I could no longer feel whatever part of my body it had moved past. It was really crazy! I got kinda excited but for the most part controlled it.:banana:
The wave got to my hips when my cellphone rang :mad: :mad: :mad:
But this gives me a great boost of confidence. What I just described was my third attempt at it in an approx. 30 min timespan, and all three times worked--but on the first two attempts I didn't get the vibrations, just the feeling of complete relaxation and heightened concentration.
Just wanted to share my experience. I'm making progress :boogie: I can't wait to try to WILD tonight!
