Hi I'm new and I did my second WILD attempt this morning and I didn't quite get it. I have a muscle twitch in my knee whenever it gets numb. Does this slow me from getting to lucid dreaming? If so how can i relax it? :?

I don't know if it slows you down but I wouldn't think about it... Maybe if you let it twitch, you will eventually get past that...
When going to sleep, many people experience hypnic jerks, which are sudden jerky motions that you can't really control. Usually it occurs at the onset of sleep, and it occurs more often the more athletic you are. It's perfectly natural.
Or, you could just have a twitchy knee. *shrugs*
alright thanks ill ignore them next time
Yeah twitches like that are just another form of test your body sends to your mind to check if it's asleep. It falls into the same category as the sudden urge to move, itches, etc. Ignore them and you should enter SP fairly shortly afterwards.
i would try to ignore it. just remember it probably happens every time you go to sleep but you just aren't conscious when it twitches...realizing that fact may help you relax and be able to focus on other things.
You could try massaging your twitchy knee for a few minutes before you go to bed. Might take some of the tension out of it.
alrite thanks
Last night I had 4 DILD, which is absolutely unheard of. Over two years I'd only had three. And it all started out with me trying to WILD and my left knee doing that twitch that you are talking about! So if anything, I'd be excited about it!
Cool I'll remember that
You could use it as a signpost on your trip to Lucid Town. Just so you know you're almost there.
Shift, I love your avatar!
