I really can't do reality checks anymore.
They used to be fine but they don't work anymore.
Well, they do work, that's the proble. if I plug my nose and try to breathe I can.

look at some kind of text in your dreams then look away then look back at it,if it changes you are dreaming...that is one of the simplest most effective reality checks i do.
I don't understand.
If you pinch your nose shut and can still breathe through it, you know you're dreaming.
If you try to stick you finger through your palm and you succeed, you know you're dreaming.
If you try to levitate find yourself raising off the ground, you know you're dreaming.
So what's the problem??
ooh, i'm sorry man I worded that wrong. I'm saying I can never breathe when I plug my nose. Even if i'm dreaming. None of the reality checks work for me.
I'd have to be absolutly sure i'm dreaming in order to try levetation. And i'm hardly ONE HUNDRED percent sure ever.
I almost never do reality checks, I always just know that I'm dreaming.
I see. Well, I conceive of reality checks as a two part process - the first part is the mental part (e.g., "Am I dreaming? Are some of my dreamsigns present? Is this situation possible? Does this feel like a dream?") and the second part is the physical part (the actual reality check). The purpose of the physical reality check is not to question whether you are dreaming but to confirm (or disconfirm ;)) that you are dreaming. The second part is not always necessary - as others have pointed out, sometimes you "just know," without a doubt. However, other times you may never be quite fully convinced that you are dreaming without confirming with a physical reality check.
It looks like I'm starting to go off on a bit of a tangent here. What I'm trying to say is that the physical reality checks, while not always necessary, are still an important part of the reality checking process, and I wouldn't recommend neglecting them. Instead, my recommendation to you is to familiarize yourself with more and varied reality checks. Here is a tutorial which lists no fewer than 24 ways to test reality!! I would be beyond amazed if everyone single one of these failed while you were dreaming. So I suggest you start memorizing that list, and the next time you suspect that you're dreaming, you'll have a veritable arsenal of reality checks to confirm or disconfirm that ;).

Yes thank you for that.
You could just try to WILD....
True....I usually dont do it on school nights.
Do a deild http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...1&postcount=77 it's quite easy, and requires no RC's.
Here is the king and queen of all dream checks:
Ask yourself if you are dreaming and try to answer that question.
Even if that sounds funny, I'm not joking here. Repeating that often during the day, you will develop a sense for detecting dreams and you will not have to rely on things that may not be there, like texts, your hands, etc.
It is a lot harder to negatively answer that question when awake, than you might think. Nevertheless, try to anwer it until you feel fully assured. Maybe one day it'll help you becoming aware of this dream too.
dang, ninja9578. thats incredible. how on earth did u train urself to do that?
I usually realize that I'm dreaming and then I do a reality check to make sure...
